What the property needed
A hail storm damaged the existing roof, gutters and downspouts. The old shingles, felt and underlayment needed to be removed so the roofing system could be rebuilt from the deck up.
What American Roofing installed
The crew removed the existing shingles, felt and underlayment, installed new synthetic underlayment over the roof deck, and added Ice & Water underlayment in the valleys and around the chimney. The customer selected a Class 3 Owens Corning TruDef Duration shingle in Driftwood. After the roof was completed, new seamless gutters and downspouts were installed.
